School District Budget
Over the 2022-2023 and the 2023-2024 school years the school district has been forced to cut about $21,000,000.00 from the budget to create balanced budgets.
During this time, the community has defeated 2 school district referendums needed to maintain programs and services.
The majority of the school board voted to not put forth a referendum in November 2024, which statistics show had the best opportunity to pass the referendum. Instead, they opted to wait until April 2025.
The Beloit again defeated the referendum in April by ____ votes. As a result, the school district must cut approximately another $6,200,000.00 from the 2025-2026 school year.
After the previous budget reductions, ALL budget cuts now will have a direct impact on the students of Beloit.
